Team WestPac

WestPac’s team is knowledgeable and resourceful to provide an unmatched experience for both our agency and carrier partners.

Our team comprises of specialists in each of our divisions including Construction, General Property and Casualty and Garage.

Leadership Team

Eric Richter, President & CEO

Eric joined the insurance industry and WestPac in 2009, establishing himself as a fourth generation insurance professional working alongside his father Rick. He started in marketing and quickly executed agency growth strategies that led him to craft skill sets in both underwriting and brokerage placement. In 2013 he helped diversify WestPac beyond its construction capabilities and established new commercial binding and brokerage products for WestPac’s retailer partners. In 2021, Eric was appointed as WestPac’s as President and CEO, and is WestPac’s principal owner today.

Jake Goin, CFO

Jake has been an integral part of growing and developing WestPac since 2004 after gaining his accounting experience at Metro State University and accounting positions at other organizations. Jake runs the financial operations for the company, making sure our employees and clients are well taken care of. He brokers specific accounts to keep his knowledge of the industry sharp and up to date.

Jared Boring, VP, Brokerage & Underwriting

Jared started with WestPac in 2015 as a broker. He quickly established himself within WestPac’s existing agency network while working to develop new relationships to help expand the company’s market share. Prior to his time at WestPac, Jared worked on the carrier side for multiple years in both claims and underwriting capacities. Today he oversees all brokers and underwriters at WestPac while still maintaining a book business.

Carlie Genova, VP, Operations

Carlie Genova began her insurance career as a receptionist for a locally owned, independent P&C agency in southern Colorado in 2001. During her tenure, she advanced from answering phones to managing a large and diverse book of business. Prior to joining the Western Pacific team in 2016, Carlie worked with Western Pacific as one of her preferred wholesaler partners. In 2019 Carlie was appointed Vice President of Operations, in her current role she oversees the service team. She has created and implemented training programs, workflows, and best practices to ensure the success of the team. Having firsthand experience from working on the retail side of the industry affords Carlie a unique and in depth understanding of the needs of our agency partners and the challenges they often face.

Alexandra Vacante,
Director, Business Development

Alexandra started started with WestPac in January of 2017. She started as a Marketing Representative, establishing lasting relationships with our current agent base while also creating new ones. She soon took on a broker role, enhancing her underwriting knowledge and building a book of business. While she still brokers and underwrites business, Alexandra has now transitioned back into our Marketing department, overseeing that team and ensuring that our marketing efforts align seamlessly with our company's goals and vision.
